Are there any age restrictions for participants?
Participants must be at least 18 years old to enter The Purbeck Marathon.
What should I bring on race day?
Participants should bring their race bib, comfortable running gear, and hydration supplies. A full checklist is available in our race day guide.
Is there a time limit to complete the marathon?
Yes, there is an 7-hour 11 minute time limit. A unique time limit – we added the 11 minutes so a charity runner back in 2018 could offically finish..!
How can I volunteer for the event?

What safety measures are in place for the marathon?
We prioritize participant safety with medical stations, hydration points, and trained staff throughout the course.
Can I get a refund if I can't participate?
We are unable to accept cancellations and do not provide refunds, however we can defer your place to 2027.
